Travis Scott announced the “Birds Eye View” tour today. The tour looks to be an exciting one off of Travis Scott’s most recent album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The tour is set to feature shows across the US and Germany and is sure to be full of energy. Travis Scott has created a reputation for putting on great shows with non-stop action and should definitely be an artist on your must-see list this summer.
Century Palm has announced a Canadian tour in anticipation of the release of their new EP “Meet You.” Which will release on March 10th. Century Palm was initially formed by vocalist/guitarist Andrew Payne in 2014 following the dissolution of Ketamines, a cult favorite garage-pop band founded by bassist Paul Lawton that featured 3/4ths of the eventual members of Century Palm (Lawton, Payne, Penny Clark & Jesse Locke) in one or other of its various iterations.

On Friday April 29th Walshy Fire of Major Lazer set Ritual Nightclub ablaze, with the biggest dancehall set likely to be heard in Ottawa this year. Opening sets by Frank Play and DJ Roz got the club in the right frame of mind, building up to the explosion of R&B and Dancehall that took over the club when Walshy Fire took the stage.

London-based alternative act Run Coyote fall into this category with their bright minds aligning for an ultimate goal of success. Run Coyote, made up of Sam Allen (vocals/guitar), Jake Allen (guitar/bass), Amanda Grant (bass/piano), and Jeremy Ramos-Foley (drums), have released one album to date and hope to continue improving on this collection.
