MSTRKRFT is still waiting for the rest of the music industry to catch up. After more than a decade since releasing their first album, the electronic music duo Jesse F. Keeler (JFK) and Al-P are hoping that the music industry is finally ready for what they are trying to do with music.

Malin Dahlström and Gustaf Karlöf are political romantics. After speaking with them over Skype, it became clear that they are some of the most empathetic and kind people in pop music. They don’t want to be considered political, but sometimes their opinions can’t help but bleed into their art as humans just trying to talk to other humans, a spirit rather than a manifesto.
On Friday April 29th Walshy Fire of Major Lazer set Ritual Nightclub ablaze, with the biggest dancehall set likely to be heard in Ottawa this year. Opening sets by Frank Play and DJ Roz got the club in the right frame of mind, building up to the explosion of R&B and Dancehall that took over the club when Walshy Fire took the stage.
While everybody is still recovering from the drop jaw syndrome and the wake of drama induced punditry that Lemonade left on the music scene, we have discovered a remedy. Enter stage left BOSCO & Speakerfoxxx. This ATL(iens) duo is just the fun-inducing, don’t give and WHAT!!, group that you will undoubtedly be bouncing to throughout the sunshine and into the warm summer nights.
