Disclosure had a strong 2012, but 2013 is already looking like it’ll be the young British duo’s year. The electronic, post-dub producers have unleashed a killer track titled “White Noise.” The song is a collaboration with fellow up-and-comers AlunaGeorge, a British pop/electro duo who have an amazing track record with their releases thus far, including “Your Drums, Your Love,” “Body Music” and “Watching Over You.” “White Noise” brings together what each duo does best; the sweet and catchy vocals of Aluna Francis and the fresh and club-ready sounds of Disclosure, if you like proof check out “Latch.”
2013 will see the release of both duos albums, AlunaGeorge’s Body Music in June, and Disclosure’s debut that is to be released this spring. The artists offer a fresh and innovative take on dance and pop music that is a welcome change from current trends of dubstep and mega-popstars. “White Noise” is a great taste of what Disclosure is capable of, and I hope that this collaboration widens both duos audiences for the better.
