Becoming a bartender in North America isn’t seen as a legitimate career for many. It’s a job you get into while trying to make money for school, or you might become a bartender so you can meet more girls (or whatever floats your boat). For me, it wasn’t quite either of those things, I got involved because I was intrigued.
Negroni: the perfect summer cocktail and the drink order that will occasionally get you a funny look from an uninitiated server.
Originating in Italy the negroni is a slow sipping cocktail for lazy afternoons in the sunshine. The cool sweetness of the gin and vermouth cuts through summer heat like Steph Curry through a defense.
In life, sometimes the smallest things can have the biggest impact. The same can be said for food. Instead of courses hitting your guests like giant waves crashing down, sometimes it’s better to for them to wade through a gentle stream. Variety will always liven things up and provide your guests with micro experiences.
As clichee as it is, women love a man that can cook for them. Yet and still, many a dude resign themselves to simply be diners at a restaurant, letting the chef knock her socks off. While dining out is the safe and easy bet, it can come with steep expense.
