With Spring just around the corner the “rocker” image seems to continue to trend for this season. My picks for this upcoming season focus on functionality and versatility. Both looks are meant to work for every day wear and have a little bit of pop for your nights out. The first outfit features light colours with yellow accents to compliment, while the second outfit gives you that all black look with lots of zippers and a graphic tee inspired by that band merchandise aesthetic.
If you’re looking for the highest quality in leather goods and sneakers this summer than look no further than Tokyo based brand Hender Scheme. Started by founder Ryo Kashiwazaki the brand represents masterful craftsmanship and quality. Hender Scheme has become well known for their homage line, which that reinterprets classic sneaker silhouettes with high quality leather materials in black and nude tones.
Century Palm has announced a Canadian tour in anticipation of the release of their new EP “Meet You.” Which will release on March 10th. Century Palm was initially formed by vocalist/guitarist Andrew Payne in 2014 following the dissolution of Ketamines, a cult favorite garage-pop band founded by bassist Paul Lawton that featured 3/4ths of the eventual members of Century Palm (Lawton, Payne, Penny Clark & Jesse Locke) in one or other of its various iterations.
2017 Appears to feature one of the biggest collaborations in recent memory. The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Supreme has built up plenty of anticipation and represents the growing influence of streetwear in high fashion.
