For those of you who haven’t heard of Run The Jewels, please do yourself a favour and check them out immediately. Now that you understand the hype get ready to hear something absolutely insane, because at long last Meow the Jewels has dropped. I don’t usually write angry articles. I’m not the type to side against any genre of music and place meaningless biases towards an artist or a song. However, today I’m crossing the threshold. Mutant
Release Date: Fall 2015 After the pleasantly gorgeous Xen last year, Arca has kept himself busy with his involvement in Björk’s heartbreak masterpiece Vulnicura. The wonky producer recently shared news of a new album in the works, expected to be out this fall. Judging from already-released tracks from this year like “Sheep” and “Vanity”, it looks like the soundscape continues into stranger territory.

We all burn, burn, burn with the desire for fame. But what would we do once we had it? Most pop stars play the game. They know the rules, and they stick to them, mostly. There’s some bending, but only enough to make them stand out just enough to carve their own spot in the ocean of our cultural attention span.
