One of the most influential figures of the 21st century, Kermit the frog, is most popularly known for his role on The Muppet Show, a television program that attracted more than 200 million viewers in over 100 countries each week during the late seventies. However, Kermit was more than just an actor, he was an artist.
I know that some of you, being attracted to the title of this page, have coyly opened it up and discreetly glanced over your shoulder to insure that you have not been incriminated with this “dishonorable” material. If you have done just that, shame on you! Because you, like many others, are adding to the silence surrounding sex.

I am not sure why, but I have never quite outgrown my fear of Dalhousie street. When I was fifteen, I used to walk down the street with a limp, cross my eyes and stick my tongue out to avoid confrontations or even eye contact with the charismatic crack vendors. (Two kinds of crack: the crack one buys to smoke and crack one can buy, wash and sell again…if you know what I mean).

If you couldn’t tell by the constant music references in our articles, we at the Antidote, are in love with music. In the summer of 2011, our love of music brought us down to Manchester, Tennessee for one of the greatest music festivals in the world. Bonnaroo, a four-day banger with multiple stages featuring your favourite artists across a 700-acre farm, was everything you could ask for in a music festival.
Solange, always the more interesting Knowles, as an individual and sonically, decided to fly to Africa, hired a bunch of Sapeurs (Dandies who dance in short), and made one killer video. The music is exactly what should be heard this fall, but than again, that shouldn’t be a surprise since Blood Orange is involved in production.
