After Mr. Draper inspired a new generation of brown liquor lovers, the Japanese swooped in and bought up whisky distilleries from Scotland all the way down to the whiskey distilleries in Kentucky.

A winter trip is many times very necessary for the health and for the soul. Choosing a destination is another cumbersome task. We usually book trips based on how many dollars we can spare but after paying attention to the news on the developments with Cuba and the U.S, I begin to think an impromptu trip is in order.
February 9th, 2015 marks the six month anniversary of the murder of 18 year old Michael Brown by officer Darren Wilson. Wilson fired a total of six shots – Brown was unarmed. In the aftermath of the shooting the Ferguson grand jury found Wilson not guilty.
While this case highlights both the epidemic of gun violence in America as well as focuses in on police brutality, what it truly underscores is the current state of race relations – a state entrenched in white supremacist values and structures.
