ANERKJEDT

Our first look is at Danish label Anerkjendt. Featuring highly wearable pieces with an edge that blends streetwear and outdoor styles. Anerkjendt is a brand with a reputation for creating bold, stand out pieces. They use an innovative mixture of new fabrics – knit or sweat combined with quilted nylon. This season’s line uses a dark palette of deep and dusty army greens, night blue, bordeaux, black, grey and white, as well as varying prints. Each individual piece has been given a twist that sees it effortlessly stand out from the crowd, allowing you to create truly unique ensembles.

PUBLIC SCHOOL

2013 has been a great year for New York based duo, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of the label Public School. Having already received the CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear in June, the pair took home the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Top Honor. Public School brings a bold design aesthetic back to mens fashion.

2008 was the year the two stepped into the fashion game and their efforts in the music industry and boutiques made them forces in the industry. Now their ties between fashion and urban culture have brought them to the forefront on mens streetwear.
