Japanese label visvim flexes their considerable design chops for their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, drawing inspiration from an eclectic combination of sources. From 50’s Havana to Hokkaido, Nakamura demonstrates his trademark ability to craft a collection with one foot in the past and one foot in the present. Featuring outerwear, denim, knitwear, and a variety of accessories, visvim’s tour-de-force continues in stride.
It’s difficult to write anything about denim that hasn’t already been written countless times before. Denim is something special, an icon of modernity and somehow, simultaneously, a throwback to a bygone era.
